I want to see the engine compartment to see if it was a A/C car. The few dash pics don't show if there are the extra vents for A/C

It is "mildly" modified, though in ways that car guys typically like. It's possible something's broken too. I've heard of guys trying to ditch cars that have a serious repair bill on the way despite it being a cool GTO.
It's also possible it's a Pontiac Le Mans with badge swaps, GTO clones are pretty common. IF it's a Le Mans the price is pretty accurate I would guess.
